Featuring uppers made from 100% organic cotton canvas and solvent- and DMF-free polyeurethane coated split leather, the Sunny Day Sk8-Hi Tapered VR3 utilizes a biobased foam VR3Cush™ footbed for comfort you can feel good about and the new VR3Waffle™ outsole that uses responsibly sourced natural rubber while still maintaining the grip and durability that Vans has been known for since ’66.
Our team has set ambitious sustainability goals. Big or small, all of our efforts add up to positive change. To earn the VR3 Checkerboard globe logo, at least 30% of the product must be made up of recycled, renewable, and/or regenerative materials.

• UPPER MATERIAL: Made with 100% Organic Cotton Canvas and LWG Gold Rated Solvent-Free and DMF-Free Polyeurethane Coated Split Leather.
• FOOTBED: The new VR3Cush™ footbed is made using at least 25% biobased EVA foam partially derived from plants per the ASTM D6866-16 testing standard.
• OUTSOLE: VR3Waffle outsole made with a proprietary compound containing at least 25% responsibly sourced natural rubber obtained from sources that follow proven sustainable practices with the intention of reducing impacts on the planet. This new natural rubber compound was developed and engineered to maintain the grip and durability Vans is known for (since 66).
