Wild horses, also known as mustangs, trot through the semi-arid and remote landscape of the Fifteenmile Herd Management Area in the Bighorn Basin. Advocates, ranchers, ecologists, and the government are all seeking solutions on how to best manage the animals and safeguard fragile desert ecosystems.
